Cable Car

Lycabettus Hill is the highest point in Athens. The Lycabettus Cable Car (formerly known as the "Lycabettus Funicular Railway") connects Kolonaki with the summit of Lycabettus Hill.

It operates with two cabins, each with a capacity of up to 34 passengers. Services run every 30 minutes from 09:00 a.m. until 02:30 a.m., while during peak hours departures are scheduled every 10 minutes.

Thousands of visitors choose to ascend Lycabettus Hill every day to enjoy the breathtaking views from an elevation of 277 meters, dine at Orizontes Restaurant, or visit the Church of Saint George. Particularly at sunset, the panoramic views of the Acropolis and the entire city of Athens offer a truly memorable experience for visitors of all ages.

€10 per person (one-way trip)

Access via Walking Path

The summit of Lycabettus Hill can also be reached from the Lycabettus Theatre parking area via the specially designed walking path leading to the top of the hill.

The walk takes approximately 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the visitor's pace.
